IT Support
for Lawyers and Law Firms
What’s the gotaminute difference?
-
We Know Security
Law firms and lawyers must adhere to cybersecurity guidelines and regulations that require them to protect client data from breaches. Failure to comply can result in penalties and reputational damage. We are versed in governance and cybersecurity and can help secure your practice.
-
We Know Compliance
As a lawyer you are bound by rules and guidelines on how your practice needs to run. We have vast experience in compliance to legislation, regulatory guidelines, and rules from regulatory bodies. We can help you comply with mandatory and recommended IT practices and confidentiality requirements.
-
We Know Data Protection
Confidentiality is key with the sensitive information you hold. We have defined practices and internal policies to ensure that your information remains secure, even when we are working on it. Our remote support practices do not involve any recordings (unless you explicitly request this) nor do we copy any files from your practice without your express authorization.
-
We Know Tech Stacks
Technology does not exist in a vacuum, and we understand that there are integrations, specialized platforms, and unique requirements of your entire technology ecosystem. We take a holistic approach to securing your entire practice, and not just one platform or component—all the way down to your internal operating procedures.
Start with Security
Cybersecurity should be of paramount importance to your practice.
We highly recommend starting with a security assessment of all the computers in your practice, giving you visibility into any gaps you may have in terms of fundamental protections that you should have in place. This assessment covers (but is not limited to):
The software installed on the computer
Services you use in the cloud
Anti-virus, encryption, and any protective tools
Your marketing platforms and email deliverability
Your email and file storage services
Your day-to-day business process
Your password and security habits
Assessments for this vertical start at $1995 for the first computer (and the practice in general), and $500 per computer thereafter.
The assessment takes roughly 2-3 hours per computer and includes a risk register with remediation roadmap, as well as several immediate remediations (where possible).
